Belize

We had such a good time in Belize. Josh and I had signed up to go on a tour of the ruins and I was so excited to think that some of them could have possibly been something from the Book of Mormon. We were both really excited about it. Well our ship didn't get us off quickly enough and we missed our boat. We were bummed, but instead we got on with the Blackham's bus and did what they were doing. Then it hit me hard what they were doing. They were going zip lining across the jungle with some repelling in there as well. AAAHHHHH! I am terrified of heights. Anyway, I pep talked myself into it the whole bus ride up there and after the first zip line I was fine. Josh is also afraid of heights,but he played it cool. I'm sure he was dying inside too! He loved it in fact we both really liked it. It was beautiful. Anyway, here are some pics for you to enjoy of that.





I was amazed to learn about the country and the people. It is a beautiful place. They speak a Creole English that is hard to understand, but it is fun to listen to. There are really poor parts that tore at my heart and made me do a lot of thinking. I really thought a lot about the people after we had left, and I thought about all that I have and take for granted! We are so blessed.
