Ella, and a few other kids in her class where chosen to have a piece of their artwork hung in one of our visitors centers. She was so excited and so were we. She had described her art piece to me as a picture of her with freckles, big earrings, and a cowgirl belt.I thought how cute I can't wait to see it.
Well much to her dismay a different piece was chosen. I still thought her art project was great and told her that, but she was mad for the rest of the day about this, as you can see...
I told her that her caterpillar was the cutest one Ihad ever seen and that she did a great job. It didn't help.

That face is classic, I still love her picture, but I'm sure that's no consolation to her. Did you ever get to see the one that she thought was going to be displayed?
